Out with the young horses and on the way to Badminton

untitled 0067 1

I was then due to take the BE 100 and Novice horses to Bradwall Horse Trials but unfortunately Bradwall was another event to be cancelled through bad weather. It is so sad for everyone involved as so much hard work has gone into putting on an event so to loose it at the last minute is disheartening for organisers, volunteers, owners, riders and grooms, and of course the horses who thought they were about to go somewhere exciting!

I was however, incredibly lucky as Dalston Green Horse Trials very kindly accepted my 4 –BE 100 horses and 1- BE 90 HC horse at their event. It is the second year that they have run the event and it was a really nice educational course for our young horses. Khanamore finished 2nd and Shannonview Glory, JL Dublin and Striding Edge all picked up placings, which was lovely for us all.

We are now on our way to the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials with One Two Many, who feels in fantastic form, he looks fit and well and his training and preparation has gone to plan so only time will tell….. It’s very exciting and always amazing to be going to Badminton as the event has such an air about it, it’s magical and so early on the the season, it is the panicle of our sport after the Olympics. Everything crossed for a performance to be proud of and a safe, happy horse. Come on Coco! Aka One Two Many…..
